Maria is a young college student. She was looking for some extra cash to help pay for her studies. She reached out to us, and we thought her and her hair were a perfect fit for our project! We took her through various hairstyles including: highly buzzed nape, a modern bowlcut, and finally a tightly faded pixie style. We thought she would like it, but when we did the mirror reveal, tears filled her eyes letting us know she did not like her hair short. So we were even more surprised when she agreed to go for a modern hairless look that included: a shaved head, shaved face, brows, and cutting of the nose hairs. We hope that she left with some degree of joy that the money she made would go a long way in paying for her college experience.
